Robert Treat Hotel in Newark Plans Small Business Holiday Event
Large-Scale Ballroom Event Catered to Organizations with Teams of all Sizes
NEWARK, N.J., Sept. 22, 2014 – While fall may be just beginning, the Best Western Robert Treat Hotel in Newark is already looking ahead to the holiday season and its inaugural “Small Business and Community Holiday Extravaganza.” The hotel this week announced details of the event, which will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18.
“It’s never too early to start planning, and we are excited to be offering an opportunity for smaller companies and organizations to celebrate the season in a big way,” noted Leon Drogy, the hotel’s banquet manager. “Whether they have two or 200 people, they can join us for a spectacular evening of dining, dancing and conversation in our Tri-State Ballroom.”
The holiday extravaganza package includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks, with liquor available at an open bar, from 6 to 7 p.m. A deluxe buffet dinner and dancing will follow from 7 to 11 p.m., with a variety of main course selections; a dessert station and coffee bar; and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. The $50 cost per person includes sales tax and service charge.
“Our goal is to provide a cost-effective but large-scale event for the professional community,” Drogy noted. “Companies with just a handful of employees can enjoy a holiday party that rivals the highest-quality corporate affair.”
Located at 50 Park Place, the Robert Treat Hotel boasts more than 22,000 square feet of ballroom and function space. The Tri-State Ballroom, the largest in Northern New Jersey, accommodates up to 1,500 guests and is divisible for smaller gatherings. The hotel’s sophisticated Crystal Room seats up to 175 people, featuring a dance floor and crystal chandeliers. Additionally, a variety of conference spaces accommodate meetings ranging from 30 to 100 participants.
